About Brian

An advocate for financial responsibility, government efficiency and strong leadership, Brian is a proven community leader.  He brings private sector and government experience to the Chino Hills City Council. 

Prior to being elected to Chino Hills City Council, Brian was twice been elected to the Chino Valley Independent Fire District Board of Directors and served as President of the Board.

He currently works as Vice Presidents of Government Affairs for a local recycling and solid waste company.  Brian also owned a small business.  Previously, he was Deputy Chief of Staff to  a San Bernardino County Supervisor.  Additionally, he has worked for officials in the House of Representatives and the California State Legislature. 

A native Californian, Brian grew up in Huntington Beach and attended Mater Dei High School.  He attended the University of California, Berkeley where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.  While at Cal, he was President of his fraternity and was involved in various campus activities. Brian also earned a Master of Public Administration with an emphasis in Public Management from California State University, Dominguez Hills in Carson.  

Brian and his wife, Libbie have two young children.  Libbie is an elementary school teacher.  They are parishioners of St. Paul the Apostle Church in Chino Hills.  In his personal life, Brian enjoys being a Cub Scout leader, coaching his children's sports teams, camping, fishing, wine tasting and traveling to attend Cal sporting events with his family.  He is the proud grandson of a Pearl Harbor survivor and member of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War. ​
